Liberal Democrats with the petition at Connaught Road Post Office

A petition launched to support the calls for passport and car tax services to be offered at a Harborough post office has topped 1000 signatures.

The petition was launched at the beginning of February to support the Connaught Road office's application to the Post Office to be allowed to provide car tax renewal and passport check and send services.

Councillor Phil Knowles, who along with his fellow Liberal Democrat Councillors Sarah Hill and Barbara Johnson, spearheaded the petition said: "This shows strong support from the community for provision of these important additional services."

To sign the petition please visit the Connaught Road Post Office or the receptions of the Harborough Mail or Harborough FM.
