Zuffar asks schools and business to support 10:10 campaign

10.25.00pm BST (GMT +0100) Fri 25th Sep 2009

The 10:10 campaign aims to cut our carbon emissions by 10 per cent in 2010. And Zuffar Haq, Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Spokesperson for Harborough, is calling on local people to support it.

He says:

"Over the coming weeks I will be contacting as many of our schools and businesses as possible urging everyone to join the campaign and cut their carbon footprint. I hope schools will launch projects that allow pupils to involve their families so that they take the campaign into their work places. And I hope those companies will set up green schemes that staff can take up at work environment and take into their homes to involve all of the family."
